What features do you really need to use. Ironically, I have come up with a list below of some of the in-camera features in the menu that you don’t really need to use.

Top on the list: Do Not Use Auto Mode, as Program mode is essentially the same thing, but allows exposure overrides.
Not on the List: Digital Zoom. This just an in camera crop, and your computer software is a much better tool for cropping.

Manual Exposure Overrides is a key reason to NOT shoot on auto.
